Devon began is career as an investment professional at Mercato Partners. Devon supported the senior investment team with asset valuation, portfolio construction, fundraising, deal sourcing, and diligence. Outside of Mercato Partners, Devon launched EarlyAdmit 2020 and scaled the business to the world’s leading Deferred MBA/Law Consulting firm. In 2023, EarlyAdmit was acquired by TEQUIRE.
Devon is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner at SectionX Capital, a seed-stage venture fund focused on backing audacious entrenpreneurs in B2B SaaS.
Devon is an M.B.A Candidate at the Harvard Business School Class of 2025. Devon earned a B.S. in finance from the University of Utahin 2020, graduating Summa Cum Laude.
Avinash is a seasoned digital transformation leader with over 15 years of experience in Technology Mergers & Acquisitions in the United States. With a proven track record of driving successful transformations, he is the go-to expert for anything related to technology.
Avinash began his career as a technology consultant, working with Fortune 500 companies to implement new technologies and improve their operations. He leads $100M+ enterprise wide digital transformations spread across the United States, Canada, Germany, Portugal, and India.
Over the years, Avinash has worked on a wide variety of deals, from small startups to multi-billion dollar transactions. He has a deep understanding of the technology landscape and has helped his clients idetify the right opportunities to grow their businesses. He is also skilled at developing integration plans and executing them smoothly, ensuring that the combined organization can hit the ground running.
At EarlyAdmit, he is responsible for providing the strategic growth oversight, bring-in industry partnerships, and provide the necessary capital infusion to truly scale EarlyAdmit into a high growth business. Avinash holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and MBA from IIT Delhi. He is a natural leader and collaborator, an ambidextrous human and is passionate about building strong, high-performing teams. In his free time, he enjoys playing cricket and spending time with his family.
Growing up in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Southwest Virginia, Jake developed a curious and calm persona.
He graduated Summa Cum Laude from the College of William & Mary in 2020, having studied finance and psychology. After interning at the Federal Reserve Board (FRB) in the summer of 2019, Jake began his career at FRB in July 2020, joining the Finacial Planning & Analysis and Strategic Performance teams.
Jake applied to Deferred MBA programs in the spring 2020, and was admitted to the University of Virginia Darden School of Bsuiness’ Future Year Scholars Program. With a desire to enable future generations to succeed, Jake joined EArlyAdmit as a coach in August 2020 and was promoted to VP of Operations shortly thereafter. He currently serves as Chief Operating Officer and Head of Deferred MBA, overseeing the firm’s Deferred MBA operations and coaches. He plans to matriculate to Darden in 2025.
In his free time, Jake enjoys playing tennis, exploring new restaurants and cuisine, spending time with friends and family, and meeting new people.
