Victor Cai received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology along with a certificate specialized in Markets and Management Studies from Duke University. He now serves as Product Manager at OptumRx under UnitedHealth Group. He has previously served as a product analyst and network contracts negotiator at the same parent company. He also worked directly in the provider healthcare space serving patients and doctors as a clinical research assistant at Duke Hospital.Throughout his career, Victor has stayed actively engaged in the broader healthcare industry through multiple sectors like Technology, Pharmacy, Finance, and Clinical with an eye toward innovation and improving health outcomes for all people.

Victor holds an eclectic background having started as a pre-med student aiming for medical school but then switched careers paths to pursue one in business. Whether or not you have a background in healthcare, Victor offers unique one-of-a-kind insight to navigating a career shift/pivot to broaden one's exposures and advance your career path. He has previously mentored students at his alma mater applying for these same early MBA deferred admissions programs and he is excited to expand his coaching through EarlyAdmit. Victor is a very engaging, hands-on person with anything he works on and is passionate about helping others succeed by working closely together through each step of the process.
