Garvita is a stubborn optimist and ardent believer in the power of everyone a change leader. Having had a substantially unique experience with the application process, she is specially positioned to help you select the right schools, share your story and journey powerfully and present your best self during your interviews.
Garvita launched her own non-profit Why Waste? in high school, growing it to a global scale over the past few years as she completed her undergrad studies. Her mission has been to help us fix our relationship with water. Garvita has successfully worked and built partnerships with global organizations including Facebook, Google, Ashoka, IKEA, Levi’s, and been funded by the National Geographic Society and Shawn Mendes Foundation, amongst others. This is a unique strength and testimony of her capability to convince and drive impact effectively. Garvita was the youngest honouree on Forbes Asia 2021 list of 30 Under 30 Social Entrepreneurs and has been recognized as India’s Water Girl by the Government of India for her immense passion, action, and advocacy towards water conservation.
Garvita is excited about finding cross-collaborative opportunities across industries and amplifying them for impact. She hopes to bridge the gap between ecology and economy, driving her to pursue a business degree to strengthen her understanding and ability to impact this ecosystem. Garvita currently works for a startup in India while continuing to grow her work as an environmental entrepreneur.
